Abstract:

When will robots finally handle our dishes, laundry, and house cleaning? While automation dominates factories, robots remain largely absent from our daily lives. Why is human-level physical skill so hard to replicate, even as digital AI advances at breakneck speed? This talk explores the massive divide between virtual AI and physical applications, addresses whether the "Bitter Lesson" applies to robotics, and proposes a functional architecture for true physical intelligence in everyday life.
